Gibson Healthmart has an abundance of history, charm, and product selection. Located along Main Street in downtown, WaKeeney, Kansas since 1892. The original owners sold the business to Harold Gibson in the late 1970s. Current President and manager, Bernita Augustine, began working along side Harold in 1975. While so many main streets across the nation grow empty, Gibson Healthmart continues to thrive in downtown WaKeeney. Their secret ingredient… Customer Service.
A nostalgic feature of our business is our old-fashioned soda fountain, which has been a staple since the very beginning. The current soda fountain features nine stools and still makes Green Rivers and sodas, malts and shakes the old-fashioned way.
The Drug Store offers a full-service pharmacy. A home health department. A floral shop with a variety of fresh bouquets and silk floral arrangements. In addition to their cards, gifts, boutique apparel and so much more.
